What a fantastic day at BMCC for the 2026 Pete House Memorial Meeting.
Unfortunately, a few drivers had to pull out at the last minute, leaving us with 36 cars on the day. However, we still had enough for a great day’s racing across all the classes, with plenty of close racing throughout.
Sadly, Steven Westbrook also had to call it a day before the first round after suffering electrical issues with his car during practice.
Despite those setbacks, everyone got stuck in and helped make it another great Pete House Memorial Meeting, raising money for Pete’s chosen charity, the KSS Air Ambulance Service.
We’re very pleased to have raised over £500, with the final total to be confirmed at a later date.

Due to the reduced numbers we only had 2 cars running in the 2L Saloon class, but that didn’t stop Craig and Daren fighting for the top spot. Craig took the win with 83 laps, two laps clear of Daren. Craig also set the fastest lap of the final with an impressive 3.161.
1300 Stockcars

A hugely close finish saw Keith and Craig both complete 81 laps, with Keith taking the win by just 0.187 seconds. Jack finished third on 80 laps.
The 1300 B Final was won by Neil Genders, with Andy Henderson second and Jonathan Freestone third.

The standard of racing in Hotrods was very high so we went for an all in 7 car final to avoid splitting the pack. Keith put in his usual strong performance to take the win with 88 laps, ahead of Jamie on 86 and Jack on 84.

The minis were also all in for a 9 car final including a mix of brushed and brushless motors. Harry took the win with 78 laps using his new/borrowed Kamtec Brushless Mini, with Richard and Paul both finishing on 74 laps, separated by just over a second.
🏆 Top Junior went to James Henderson — not much competition, but a winner’s a winner! 😂 Well done James and thank you for taking charge of raffle tickets sales.
🎨 CONCOURSE COMPETITION
Pete was a paint sprayer by trade and took real pride in his shells, so it was great to see the effort that went into the cars for our concourse competition that were judged this year by Gordon Brett.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought raffle tickets throughout the day. The raffle made an important contribution to our fundraising, with all proceeds going to KSS Air Ambulance.
A massive thank you also to everyone who raced, travelled to support us, helped with the running of the meeting, marshalled, helped set up and clear away, and generally made the day possible. Special thanks to Juliet for giving up her Saturday to run Race Control and to AK Modelsport for providing their well stocked spares shop 👍🏻
We’d also like to thank Aldingbourne Community Sports Centre for once again providing the hall free of charge, allowing us to put as much as possible towards the charity.
